Nate & Spike
Nate & Spike
Weekdays: 2 PM – 6 PM
NATE CONNORS was born in Honolulu on King Kamehameha Day! It’s supposed to be good-luck…hmmmm.
Nate was introduced to Classic Rock at the tender young age of birth, thanks to his hippy parents.
A course in Radio Broadcasting at BCC (Bellevue Comm. College) led him from one lucky door to another, beginning with KXRX-FM and eventually here at KZOK-FM. Nate is grateful to be enjoying my 17th year sifting through aisles of Hallowed Classic Rock records.

SPIKE O’NEILL was born in the shadows of Northeast Baltimore’s Memorial stadium, and raised as an Oriole and Colt fan. In 1989 He met Radio legend Bob Rivers and the rest, as they say, is a rap sheet.
Spike embarked on a 25 year run with the Bob Rivers show that allowed him the opportunities to develop as Co-Host, improvisational comedian, sportscaster, writer, and one of the industries most respected parodists.
Now Spike has launched the next phase of his career, returning to CBS Radio Seattle where he joins Nate Connors afternoons on KZOK. As a 27 year Seattle broadcaster, Spike brings an accomplished knowledge of life, comedy, parenting, and sports, as well as a passion and commitment to getting and telling the whole story.
Spike’s turn-ons include riding his Harley, performing with his band the Impalers, and a good tequila. His turn offs include wimpy handshakes, indoor baseball and spray on tans.

Former Husky and NFL Lineman, Ed Cunningham, talked with his good friend Spike O’Neill about his decision to step away from broadcasting due to the effects football can have – especially later in life.
