If you find yourself out and about in Seattle this weekend thinking, “Hey, that dude looks just like Bruce Springsteen!” Well it just might be. He’ll be in Seattle this Saturday…not to play a show, donate money to some worthy cause, or even to mark the first day of Rocktober, no The Boss is pimping his book. He’ll be at Elliott Bay Books on Capitol Hill at noon to autograph copies of his new autobiography Born to Run. Sadly this appearance is already sold out. Fans got word through hard-core Springsteen fan channels and snapped up all the tickets, which included a book and a chance to get a selfie with him while he scrawls his name in black Sharpie, but “no additional books or memorabilia, no personalization, no performance, no talk” allowed, sorry. Still, knowing Bruce like we do, don’t be surprised if he chats up fans who didn’t get tickets outside the Elliott Bay Book Company 1521 10th Ave on Capitol Hill…and the next stop on this whirlwind book tour is in Portland on Tuesday. He’s not likely to be hanging with his ex-parents-in-law in Lake Oswego…so don’t be surprised if you spot him around town!
