This Seattle house made national news this summer. Some 10 years ago it’s owners decided to spruce things up a bit by painting a rather large mural on the side. The neighbors never complained, and given it’s location it was enjoyed by thousands of commuters stuck in Seattle traffic every day…until last June, when some feminists collectively calling themselves “Some Feminists” took offense and splashed it with gray paint and a scrawled message: “Stop exploiting women’s bodies!”. The woman who painted it said they missed the point, spent the summer restoring it, and added another American icon. So Sarah’s Beaver went to have a look.
If you can tell Danny and Sarah where her Beaver has been Friday morning, you could win a pair of tickets to see Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, Friday Rocktober 28th at Seattle’s historic Moore Theater. But wait, that’s not all! You’ll also get a $25 gift card good for prefunctioning at Duke’s Chowderhouse Restaurants!
As always, the phone number to use is 1-800-252-1025…good luck, and Happy Beaver Hunting!
