Legendary rocker Paul McCartney and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton met up Wednesday (Aug. 17). Sir Paul had a show at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio where Clinton was campaigning, so she decided to drop by, reports the Washington Post.
Later, McCartney posted a photo of himself with the Democratic presidential nominee, along with the caption “She’s with me.”
McCartney’s allegiance to Clinton has met with mixed reviews on social media.
This isn’t the first time McCartney has rubbed elbows with a U.S. president. In 2010 he performed a concert in the East Room for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama after being honored with the Library of Congress’ Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.
