Sharon Osbourne Announces Ozzfest and Knotfest Merger

By Radio.com Staff

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s relationship may be on the rocks at the moment, but it appears that they are very much still in business with each other. Earlier today at a press event in Los Angeles, Sharon, along with Ozzy, Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler, Corey Taylor and other Slipknot members announced that the Ozzfest and the Knotfest would be merging for one metal festival Saturday September 24 and Sunday September 25.

Saturday is dubbed as the Ozzfest day, and will feature Black Sabbath, Disturbed, Opeth, Black Label Society, Children of Bodom and Hatebreed, among others.

Sunday, meanwhile, is the Knotfest day, and will feature Slipknot, Slayer, Amon Amarth, Anthrax, Trivium, Overkill, Death Angel and the Butcher Babies, among others.

Unsurprisingly, Sharon and Ozzy didn’t address their very public relationship issues during the press conference. She did introduce him and they embraced briefly.
