Sinead O’Connor ‘Amused’ by Arsenio Hall’s $5 Million Lawsuit

By Annie Reuter

The beef between Sinead O’Connor and Arsenio Hall continues to build.

In the latest developement, the Irish singer fires back at Hall, who last week filed a $5 million libel suit against O’Connor for accusing the talk show host of supplying Prince with drugs. In a May 6 Facebook post titled “Regarding Arse-inio Hall’s Laughable Threats,” O’Connor says she’s entertained by the whole ordeal.

“I’m more amused than I’ve ever dreamed a person could be and look forward very much to how hilarious it will be watching him trying to prove me wrong,” she wrote. “I’m also very happy to notice that the DEA have taken me seriously enough to be thoroughly questioning all of Prince’s friends and aides from the last 30 years as to his KNOWN history of hard drug use and where he obtained his drugs. I do not like drugs killing musicians. And I do not like Arsenio Hall. He can suck my d–k. That is if he isn’t too busy sucking someone else’s d–k.”

In addition to claiming Hall provided Prince with hard drugs, O’Connor accused Hall of “spiking” her at Eddie Murphy’s home. Hall filed a complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court, saying O’Connor is a “desperate, attention-seeker … now known perhaps as much for her bizarre, unhinged internet rants as for her music.”

Since O’Connor’s allegations, the DEA and the U.S. Attorney’s Office have joined the investigation of Prince’s death with the hope to find who provided the late singer painkillers.
