Paul Rodgers Says Hi

One of rock and roll’s best voices ever belongs to Mr. Paul Bernard Rodgers, and he’s playing the Little Creek Casino in Shelton this Thursday night. So Paul called in from his suburban Vancouver BC home to chat with KZOK’s Scott Vanderpool on Monday, touching on his long career with Free, Bad Company, The Firm (with Jimmy Page, who had Paul on his short list of singers for Led Zeppelin before settling on Robert Plant), and standing in for the late Freddy Mercury of Queen. We learn what his favorite songs are, what he’ll be playing Thursday, and completely avoid the fact that Paul is still not in the ****ing useless Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland while Madonna, ABBA, and Donna Summer are. WTF?
