Since that story made its rounds, the Black Sabbath bassist has issued a statement of sorts on Twitter.
Being cautious not to admit guilt or give away any other details, Geezer impartially called the incident “unfortunate” and thanked his fans for their support and well wishes.
He also called the altercation a “distraction” and posted a photo of himself sitting near a cryptic statue of a cloaked figure hovering over a bike.
Thx for your messages & support following the unfortunate altercation that occurred.—
