Danny wasn’t “Hanging with Mr. Cooper” last night, as actor/comedian Mark Curry arrived at the Parlor Live Comedy Club after Make Danny Laugh had concluded. Danny doesn’t feel snubbed, though he does take credit this morning for launching Mark Curry’s career, and for suggesting the name, “Hanging with Mr. Cooper.” As Danny greets his fellow show members, we learn Will slept at the station last night so he wouldn’t have to drive home after the party to raise the R atop the old Rainier Brewery. He also went to Make Danny Laugh, though he didn’t know where the Parlor is, so he drove around till he found it and missed the whole thing. Mike Jones brought cupcakes because it’s Gibbons’ birthday tomorrow. Not really, it’s because one of our engineers fixed his broken guitar and Mike’s wife made cupcakes for him and the show. But Danny brought Gibbons a gift and a cake that he totally did not bake himself but at least got it here in one piece. Good on ya, Doochman!
The Halloween season has Sarah thinking about how creepy kids can be, starting with Damian from “The Omen,” or the blonde kids in “Village of the Damned.” Danny was creeped out by the kids in “Children of the Corn.” Who do you think is the creepiest kid of all time?
Danny Bonaduce, Life Coach, counsels a tearful young man whose sister moved with her kids to Boston, and their departure has broken his heart.
Sarah has money on her mind, the $1,000 grand prize for the costume contest at our Halloween party, and the fact that she is obsessed with “The Price is Right.” She likes to think about what she would buy if she won some prize money. Danny has fantasized about buying a radio station. Mike Jones fantasizes about buying Fort Knox. If money were no object, what would you buy?
All this, and the game that’s sweeping the nation, Where Has Sarah’s Beaver Been, on today’s Danny Bonaduce Show.
