Sarah spotted a new study that shows that the majority teen drinking and smoking is enabled by friends and family, particularly parents who buy booze for their kids. Danny doesn’t think he’s the “cool dad,” but he could foresee a time when he might let his kids have a drink under his roof. When Sarah was a kid, she would be given a little bit of wine on special occasions, but not regularly, and nothing stronger than win. Do you allow your kids to drink in your presence, or did your parents let you drink if they were monitoring you?

It’s Friday, so we talk about movies as we always do on Friday. Sarah read an interview with Jane Fonda in which she revealed she is a big fan of “Dumb and Dumber.” Sarah found that surprising, and asks Danny what movie we would be surprised to learn he likes. Danny replies, “Under the Tuscan Sun,” which he found so inspiring it changed his life. People are surprised to learn Sarah loves “Pitch Black” so much. What movie would people be surprised to learn you love?
