Hey kids,

My expectations for last night’s Eagles concert were met and then some.

The Eagles nailed it from the start — serving up some lost classic’s like “Whatever Happened To Saturday Night.” What was also incredible was the first half guest Bernie Leadon (who played with the band before the Joe Walsh era began).

The band crushed through hits that comprised a two-and-a-half hour masterpiece, serving notice that they are part of our Classic Rock DNA. Walsh, who was wearing a Jimi Hendrix T-Shirt, owned the second half with scorching versions of “Life In The Fast Lane” and “Those Shoes and Life’s Been Good.”

If you missed Eagles at The KeyArena last night, just ask anyone who was there how great a performance the old timers’ served it. They are, without question, America’s Rock Band.
