The Allstate Insurance Company, for the 9th year in a row, has released it’s list: The “Allstate America’s Best Drivers Report“…and we don’t fare so well. They rated Seattle as the 160th “safest” city out of 200. What this means to them anyway is that the average Seattle driver will be involved in a crash every 7.8 years statistically, making us 29% more likely to smash it up than the national average. Big cities typically fare worse than smaller ones, but you’re not much better, Tacoma…you came in at #144, crashing only every 8.1 years.

So where can you go and not share the road with all these idiots? Because clearly you personally, are a fine driver, it’s everyone else…of course! Fort Collins, Colorado…halfway between Denver and Cheyenne Wyoming…has America’s best drivers for the third time (they’ve ranked in the top ten every year Allstate has put this list out.

Good luck out there, and Happy Motoring!
