Over the Mother’s Day weekend, Sarah visited Winthrop, and Danny traveled to Los Angeles. Like Sarah, Danny spent several hours driving, but covered only a fraction of the miles that Sarah did, in one instance driving 30 miles in two hours. During his visit to Los Angeles, Danny discovered that his daughter did not graduate from high school, and now he has made it his mission for her to get her diploma. Danny inquires as to Gibbons’ weekend. Gibbons surprised his mom by flying back to New Jersey for Mother’s Day. The highlight of Mother’s Day for the Mike Jones family was, naturally, seeing “Iron Man 3.” Again.
Last week Sarah reported on research that found guys with guitars, or at least guys carrying guitar cases, were much more likely to get a phone number from a lady than a guy without a guitar. Sarah can relate. She once dated a guy in a successful band just so she could get Rolling Stones tickets. Danny admits to dating a pharmacist for access to drugs, and a veterinarian for the same reason. Have you ever dated someone for an ulterior motive?
Danny Bonaduce, Life Coach, advises a man who has been accepted at a flight school, but the tuition isn’t covered by student loans and he needs to raise $30,000.
We have received several emails about a song (if you can call it that) that has become a bit of a meme on our show. We call it “Experience Regina,” because that’s what it called. The last couple of weeks we have figured out an excuse to play “Experience Regina” just about every day, but we always come to regret it, because the song then gets stuck in our head, and we walk around singing “Experience Regina” all day. We share the songs that get stuck in our heads. Danny, for instance, is plagued by “Mickey” by Toni Basil. Gibbons wants to know “How Much is That Doggie in the Window.” What song gets stuck in your head?
All this, and Words of Wisdom from Will, on today’s Danny Bonaduce Show.
