Lady Liberty really has held up well!
The show is all discombobulated at the start, as Danny’s and Will’s microphone stands are all entangled. Once that’s settled, we discuss whether Danny and Amy will go through with her intention to get a big dog. Danny is okay with it, but he has drawn the line at ever getting off the couch to buy the dog some food. Also discussed: whether malamutes bark; how to get them to “talk” by speaking through a paper towel roll; and Amy’s experience with “motor boating.”
Danny was very impressed by the Domino’s commercial that shows their super-fast pizza box folder. Danny is certain that everybody has one special hidden talent. He demonstrates his, the rest of the show shares theirs, and we learn that our callers are very – well, somewhat – talented.
Danny Bonaduce, Life Coach, counsels a wife who has been separated from her husband for a year and thought reconciling would be good for their daughter, but now believes her jobless husband is moving too quickly toward rejoining their lives.
Danny and Sarah had fun at the vending machine, where they went to say bad things about Will. Danny bought Sarah some cookies, and among his change was a dollar coin depicting Millard Fillmore, the 13th president of the United States. We explore fun facts about Fillmore, Grover Cleveland, and the presidential dollar coins that Danny and Sarah have never seen despite the fact that the first one (with George Washington, natch) came out in 2007. That’s right! A whole segment about presidential coins! Suck it, every other radio show!
All this, and Marni Hughes of Q13 Fox News visits the show to comment on current events and generally brighten our studio with her presence, on today’s Danny Bonaduce Show.
