Come join KZOK at the 23rd annual Stillaguamish Festival of the River happening Friday, August 10th through Sunday, August 12th! It’s quite the challenge to try and come up with something there isn’t to do at this family-friendly event.

Just some of the things going on during the three days of action: An Alder Salmon bake, children’s storytelling and entertainment stage, climbing wall, Pacific Science Center show, volleyball and badminton. Plus, the circus troupe from Whatcom County: The New Old Time Chautauqua will be performing.

And for those of you looking to break a little sweat, the 2012 Still Fun Run 5k Footrace takes place on Saturday at 9:00am — registration is an hour and a half prior.

The address is River Meadows County Park: 20416 Jordan Rd, Arlington WA 98223. Parking is $5 per day; you’re more than welcome to bring your own personal chairs, picnic accessories, etc; well-behaved woofers (dogs) are also welcome as long as they’re on a leash.
