What a night. We here at KZOK were at the Gorge on Saturday for the Journey and Pat Benatar. And, a handful of lucky KZOK listeners got to roll up to the show in the KZOK Magic Bus. But unfortunately for you, what happens in the Magic Bus stays in the Magic Bus.

Anyway, the highlight of the night, as you may have guessed, was when the ultimate karaoke song was played. We’re talking about Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.” When the first notes of the anthem came through the PA, thousands of intoxicated enthusiastic fans roared. Yes, that song is three decades old, but people who’ve only been alive for two decades worshiped it as much as any other contemporary song close to their hearts currently nestled in their iPod.

And we can’t leave out how beautiful of a venue the Gorge is. It is without a doubt one of the best places to see any kind of show in America.
