If you missed the 2010 expo, you have a chance to take the family out to the base Saturday July 21st through the 22nd. Here are just some of the things you can check out: The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights parachute team, helicopter demos, military fly-overs, tons of smoke and pyro (check out the picture down at the bottom) and loads of other displays.

Some of our personal favorite aircraft to check out are the B-17G “Sentimental Journey – which was brought into service back in 1945 — as well as the KC-10 “Extender (Pictured here).” This bad boy has the double-duty of refueling military planes while up in the air and carrying fighter support personnel and equipment on overseas deployments.

Trust us, you’ll enjoy every ounce of action this event has to offer.  And don’t worry about having to twist your neck trying to get a good view of the air show — if you want to upgrade your FREE ticket to VIP status, there are great reserved seats for everyone.

The Patriot Jet Team act and other Air Expo activities are made possible in part by MWR, with the support of Budweiser and 102.5 KZOK!
