It’s Danny’s TV mom!

The show sounds a little punchy this morning following our big-ass “Bigfoot” movie premiere, which was attended by Danny’s son Dante, who to Danny’s relief was wearing pants. Danny was surprised onstage by the actual mayor of Puyallup, the Honorable Rick Hansen, who proclaimed yesterday Danny Bonaduce Day in Puyallup and presented him with a key to the city which, to quote the proclamation, “can also be used as a bottle opener.”

We chat with Danny’s TV mom, Shirley Jones, who is guest-starring on the Disney Channel series “Good Luck Charlie” Sunday at 8 p.m. Also, Danny fears he’s being out-neighbored.

The self-proclaimed biggest fan of Danny Bonaduce, a listener named Candace who called the show earlier this month and was so excited to talk to Danny that we invited her to visit the show, visits the show, prompting squeals of delight and calls to security (just kidding about the security part, we only thought about calling security). Also, in light of the success of Danny’s “Bigfoot” movie, we consider what creatures Danny could battle next with which sidekicks. Callers deliver pitches so impressive that we actually are considering setting up a pitch meeting with Syfy.
