It seems Buffalo Springfield are once again on indefinite hiatus.
Rolling Stone reports that the band will not be touring in the near future, despite previous plans for a 30-day trek. According to Rolling Stone, Richie Furay explained, “Neil [Young] is just fickle, and even though it boils down to all three of us making a decision… without the three of us, really there can’t be anything that would even resemble Buffalo Springfield.” Furay added, “I gotta say that we probably lost a little bit of our momentum. That isn’t to say it couldn’t be picked up again, but I certainly don’t see anything happening this year.” The band played the Bonnaroo festival last year and originally planned for a fall tour, but in July, that was postponed to this year. At that time, a spokesperson said the band members remained “incredibly excited” about the trek.
