So, according to NASA (and this is sort of old news), a large asteroid by the name of Apophis has a slight chance of striking our little blue planet. According to NASA, the chance of an impact is 1 in 250,000, but they also said there is a likely 2% chance… which I know seems like nothing, but in the realm of the universe, that’s a lot. The group of scientists who discovered this asteroid have even been able to come up with a date for the possibly fatal impact, April 13th, 2036. I wouldn’t fret, the world should end anyway in 2012 right? (… that was a joke)
