Where to start??? So many McKagan news… There’s the PETA poster, his reason for quitting Jane’s Addiction, his surgery… Mmm…

First came the news that he was in PETA’s “Ink, not Mink” anti-fur campaign… Here’s the poster…

Then, the story about his reason for quitting Jane’s Addiction… In his Seattle Weekly column, McKagan said that there were many reasons for him to quit… his band “Loaded;” his decision to write a book; his intentions of developing a new business; and he needed time to find a replacement for Scott Weiland in Velvet Revolver.

And finally, his surgery… Duff McKagan is undergoing surgery on his sinuses after he developed a hole in the cartilage of his nasal septum as a complication from years of cocaine use.

We wish McKagan nothing but the best. Talent like his is hard to come by and music nowadays can use more rockers like him!
