“The Bootleg Series,” on its ninth edition includes 47 songs that Dylan recorded alone on accoustic guitar when he was young. He also played harmonica and occasionally piano for two separate music publishers between 1962 and 1964.

Among the highlights are early recordings of such undisputed classics as “The Times They are A-Changin’,” “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “Masters of War,” “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” and “Mr. Tambourine Man.”

But it also features 15 songs that were recorded only for these sessions and never released to the public until now, including “Guess I’m Doing Fine,” “Ballad for a Friend” and two Civil Rights-themed songs, “Long Ago, Far Away” and “The Death of Emmett Till.”
