Robert Johnson

Welcome to Monday!  On this day in 1938, Blues legend [lastfm]Robert Johnson[/lastfm], from whose music, in my opinion, most Rock & Roll evolved, died at the age of 27 after being poisoned by a jealous husband as the story goes.  Robert influenced all the greats including [lastfm]Eric Clapton[/lastfm], [lastfm]Jimi Hendrix[/lastfm], [lastfm]Jimmy Page[/lastfm]and [lastfm]Jeff Beck[/lastfm] to name a few.  Johnson supposedly traded his soul with the Devil to be able to play as only he could.  Crowski
